The new Electrical Regulations (Chapter 3 of the Mine Health and Safety Act Regulations) replaced the old Chapter 21 of the Minerals Act Regulations in April 2015.
The definitions for Electricity under the Minerals Act Regulations were however found in Chapter 1, which was not repealed in 2015. This meant that some Electrical issues were defined in two different Regulations, both still in force. The definitions dealing with electricity under the Minerals Act Regulations have now been scrapped.
